What size trees can you remove?

We handle small to mid-size residential trees. For very large trees (think multi-story), we'll be honest about it and connect you with a certified arborist. We don't pretend to do what we can't.

When is the best time to trim trees?

Accepted Answer

Late winter or early spring before new growth starts is ideal for most species. Summer trimming is fine for dead or hazardous branches — those don't wait for a convenient season.

Do you remove the stump too?

Accepted Answer

Stump grinding is an add-on service. If you want it gone completely, yes — we grind it down below grade and clean up the chips. If you want to leave the stump (for a planter or a quirky garden feature), that's also valid.

My neighbor's tree is hanging over my yard — can you trim it?

Accepted Answer

Technically you can trim branches that cross your property line (up to the line). But we'd recommend a quick conversation with your neighbor first — it tends to go better than just showing up with a chainsaw.

How do I know if a tree needs to come down vs. just be trimmed?

Accepted Answer

Signs a tree should come down: more than 50% of the canopy is dead, major structural cracks in the trunk, severe lean toward your house, significant root damage, or it's just dead. We'll give you an honest assessment.
